Medium - Monoprint and Mixed Medium

Monoprinting is a process where printing ink is applied to a plate. A sheet of paper is placed on top of the plate which is then pulled through the printing press where a drum presses the ink onto the paper. Thus the ink, image, is considerably removed from the plate, making every print a "mono", one print. The final image is created by using a combination of pencil crayon, water color and water color pencil.

Giclee Print

This limited edition print is produced by Giclee, a fine art printing method, recognized as high quality artwork. The method utilizes the digital image of the original artwork, which is then jetted onto quality acid free and special coated paper by high quality inks. The result is a smooth and consistent image that accurately mimics the original.
